The goal for the Windows Project is $600,000.00. As of last Sunday, Feb 5th, we have collected $302,385,97. Congratulations! We have successfully reached the half way mark! Thank you to everyone who has generously sacrificed for this noble cause. We appreciate all future donations to help us complete the project. One window has been removed and taken to the company for refurbishing and building into a new frame. Color integrity will be matched with the already existing windows. Sts. The Church Renovation continues into the last month of the projected finish work of the renovation. Today on the outside of the front of the Narthex a worker was doing finish work on the arch of the Narthex. Inside of the church the main scaffolding has all been removed now and the painting and finish work of the church interior can be seen more clearly now. Church Renovation Update Photos taken outside of the Church Narthex. Scaffolding is up and the workers are painting the trim of the Narthex. They are using dark paint as an undercoat and light paint over the dark to finish it off. The cement work has been completed around the Narthex and the ground around the Narthex has been leveled off and cleaned up. Inside the church proper the renovation continues. The steps to the three altars are completed as built. A lot of work now is being done on the lighting in the church. The big lantern lights hanging from the ceiling have been worked over to produce more lighting in the church. A flood light is being added to the bottom of the large lights to produce more lighting. Peter and Paul Church. The main coat of paint (fiberglass paint) has been done on the ceiling and side walls of the main part of the church. Area over the balcony has not been started yet. Some experiments are being made on some areas of the walls at this time with the final colors to see which color is the right color wanted for the completed renovation.
