A Training Session was held on Wed, May 29, 2013, for all lay ministers and servers in the newly renovated church, at 4:30 pm for the servers and at 6 PM for all Cantors, Organists, Commentators/Lectors, & Eucharistic Ministers. New changes for the Mass was reviewed with all and will begin this coming weekend with the Re-dedication of the newly renovated church.
Guest speaker, Michael Podrebarac, from the Archdiocesan Liturgy office was present to help Fr. Aurl with the training session and spoke about the changes in the Mass and, also, of how important the assistance of the lay ministers, helpers and servers are to Fr. Arul during the Mass. Anyone wishing to be a new Commentator/Lector and/or Eucharist Minister was invited to attend this training session.
During the training session several men were on hand checking out the effect of the sound system of the loud speaker. After the training session many stayed and and enjoyed looking over the new renovation done to the church.
